Is the app really free?
Yes. You can download the Elaves app free on iOS and Android, manage Sunny, and access all standard and newly added content in the Elaves library at no extra cost for Sunny owners. The Elaves Safe AI feature that lets you create personalized stories, and the stories created with it, are included in the app subscription.
Can I use the app without Sunny?
You can download the app and explore the content world, and listen to sample pieces on your phone. However, the full screen-free experience - shake to play, sensor-based listening, night lullaby mode - works with the Sunny device.
Which devices does it work on?
iPhone/iPad running iOS 14 or later, and phones and tablets running Android 8 or later. Connection to Sunny is via Bluetooth; content updates are delivered over Wi-Fi.
I have more than one child. Can I use it for all of them?
Yes. You can add multiple child profiles to a single account and set a separate age, language, and content plan for each. Sharing one Sunny between profiles is also possible.
How is my child's data protected?
The Sunny device has no microphone or camera; your child's voice or image is never collected. Usage patterns are anonymised, stored only in the parent account, and processed in accordance with privacy regulations.
Does it work without internet?
Downloaded content works offline. An internet connection is needed to create new stories and update the library; it is not needed for daily listening.
